Long Beach Club, Beirut again

(So internet super slow again, Thursday, July 28)

So yesterday, I did some volunteer work yesterday with a public library. My work entitles writing proposal for funding. After,  I went to the beach again yesterday and that is 3 days in a row, which for me is an all time recorded for me. Getting tan :) 

Today, is not to eventful im gunna go to an internet cafe with my uncle, and then dinner with my aunt and my cousins. then this weekend back to the mountains.

Le Suite, Saida

The internet was incredibly slow yesterday so I had to upload this a day late. So on Wednesday, July 27th, my uncle jamil and I with one of his friends went to a beach called "Le Suite" in Saida. ha . But going to the beach two day in a row, is defiantly out of the norm for me. Bt defiantly getting that middle eastern tan. ha

So I found two places to volunteer at, the first one is Habitat for Humanity, which I am super excited about because I feel it is real work, something i am doing that will actually making a difference in someone's life. The other place is at Assabil Public Library, where I will be writing proposal in order to help for funding; it has been pretty interesting as well.

Bc we took this two years ago and almost vom'd. hahaThe Shot is a Lebanese speciality i have been told, called a DouDou shot which is Vodka, Lemon Juice, Hot Sauce and a Pitted Olive. It was actually pretty good this time Tina, the hot sauce takes away from the vodka so its pretty smooth.  Ooh Tina, i went to a club bars and they had jager ha, made me think of you. P.S. I am making the DouDou shot for EVERYONE try one when i get back :)

Tete light some candles in your honor for u on tuesday, it was super cute. it is crazy how it all has come to an end already. Jamil said he would break the law in order to be your first client. haha. I tried to advise him against it, but no matter what happens i love you two. and hope to see you in beirut, i need you guys xoxox Sabine Mohamed El Fadel (yeah i just used my full lebanese name hahaha)

Long Beach Club, Beirut

So today went the beach with my Ammo Nabil and my second cousins Karim and Jad.  It was a good day filled with sun, sea water and food. Let's just say the sun over here is a lot stronger. 

The beach had an amazing view that was utterly magnificent, please enjoy the pictures.

Bhamdoun

So this weekend, (July 23&24) I was in the mountains with my father's side of the family, and had a lovely time. Life in the mountains are defiantly a lot slower and a lot cooler than in Beirut. But it is a nice place to go to for some true family togetherness, which can really triumphant over the language barriers.

Wedding

So today (Friday July 22^nd) I went to a wedding with my grandma in a villa in the mountains, it was absolutely beautiful. The flower arrangements were incredible, definitely taking notes for future flower arrangements fun. The only thing that would have been better was to have Zack with me, to go to a wedding alone while you are missing your loved one is a little sucky. Especially when you can barely communicate with the person you did. Haha. But all in all it was fun experience, the bride was American so it was cool to see how they combined the foods and the music. The only true downside,  I did not  noticed where the bar until I was leaving ! ha

Tomorrow, or in my time, today I am going to the mountains with my other grandmother. (For my own sake, and maybe yours, I am going to use the names I call them to make it easier between grandmas. My mother mom will be further called Teta and my father’s mother Coucou.)

So I will be staying a Coucou’s for the weekend. Yay wifi, so I can facetime. And my uncle nabil is coming in tomorrow. Yay.
