Today, my Uncle, Hassan and myself went to Jbeil, which is an hour or so away from Beirut. It is the city of the ancient Phoenicians, and it is a beautiful city filled with culture. They have many shops here and was a great place to find some nice handmade jewelry and dresses.
Oh yeah the Phoenicians introduced the western world to chick peas ie hummus.
